The stunning sea view was absolutely the highlight! Our comfortable room had plenty of space, and the delicious breakfast was freshly cooked. Only downside was the walk to the town center, which took a bit longer than expected. 🌅

This is a hotel go-to for Rothesay! The venue is lovely old and nestled in a lovely building. The stuff are superfriendly and the location is beautiful directly across the road from the bay. Furthermore, it's not far from the beautiful island of Bute, Mount Stuart, and the shops. The hotel serves splendid breakfasts and offers beautifully decorated rooms with powerful shower and huge bath, as for instance...

The view from our room was amazing, and the
Comfort of the bed was unmatched. Our host, Christine, ensured we had everything for a pleasant stay, from good snacks to a perfectly cooked breakfast. The location was a bit remote for dining options, but the peace made up for it.

The location was stunning, for example, Rothesay Bay was around 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. And it was also near the beautiful island of Bute, the shops and sea and island.

The spacious double room offered fine views and comfortable beds. The breakfast was a highlight, with a variety of options prepared freshly. While parking was available, it was limited, and the distance to the main attractions was a bit inconvenient at times, requiring a short drive. This stay was awesome with its fantastic hospitality and prime views.

While the views are great, some rooms have smaller windows, especially the ones on the top floor, which might not deliver the full scenic experience. The distance to the town center is about a 15-20 minute walk, which can be a drag for anyone who's not up for it, and there were a few minor maintenance issues reported, like curtains needing repairs or bulbs being out. At times, there might be a bit of noise filtering in from nearby gardens or other guests, which can disrupt your peace if you're trying to relax.

great views but limited dining options
The sea views from my room were amazing. Breakfast offered numerous delicious choices, satisfying every taste. The staff were genuinely friendly and helped me navigate the island's attractions effortlessly.
The only downside was the lack of nearby dining options.
